Abstract
In this talk I'll review the history of\nthe convexity of solutions for elliptic PDE, then\nstate a strong maximum principles for the hessian of the\nsolutions of PDE. At last we give some geometry\napplications for some classical prescribed curvature \nproblems, for example Christoffel-Minkowski problem,\nprescribed Weigarten curvature and Brunn-Minkowski \ninequality for the eigenvalue of fully nonlinear \nellitpic operator.\n
