Zusammenfassung

We discuss two results: 1.) For a generic Riemannian metric on a closed manifold of dimension at least three all prime closed geodesics do not have self-intersections 2.) For a generic potential the prime periodic orbits of a reversible Lagrangian system of classical type on a closed manifold of dimension at least three do not have self-intersections.
